My daughter just called me and her sister-in-law hada to have an emergency c-section this morning while having seizures at 28 weeks preganant. The baby boy, Logan Alexander, weighes 2lbs 6ozs and is in ICU. The Mom, Tara, was still haveing seizures and is also in ICU. They have her medicated to stop the seizures but don't know how she will be when this is over. Please send prayers that Logan and Tara make it through this and both come out healthly and happy. We would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much for everything.
Sincerely,
Karen

Karen, how frightening for your family to have two loved ones in need. Although Logan is quite small, I have heard of amazing recoveries for premature infants lately. The seizures are scarey to witness, but can be controlled with medication. Hopefully the reason for the seizures can also be taken care of without much difficulty. Will certainly remember them and the rest of your family who care about them in my prayers.
Thanks to all of you for the prayers. Tara, the mom, is doing much better and is now in her own room. Once they got the blood pressure down the convultions stopped and they have her doing great. The baby is doing ok, they are going to try taking him off the ventilator but say they will have to do c/t scans to see how much damage was done as every convultion Mom had his brain was deprived of oxygen. We just pray all it is ok and that Logan will be normal. Right now he is in a hospital over 2 hours from their home and Danny (Daddy) and all the grandparents are staying at a Ronald McDonald House in Pa. Thanks for the prayers and please keep him in your prayers as he still has a long way to go. Thank you everyone and God Bless.
Love, peace, and light
Karen
