Researchers are participating in a new nationwide study that will test an experimental treatment to target the source of Alzheimer's disease. The experimental drug may block a critical pathway in Alzheimer's Disease that causes damage to the nerve cells in the brain. Participants will receive either the active study drug or placebo (inactive pill). All participants will be closely monitored by a team of doctors and nurses at the research clinic.

You are eligible to participate if you:

Are age 50 or older and have mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease
Have not suffered from serious or unstable diseases within the past three months
Do not have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
Have a reliable caregiver
