To my Caregiving Family,

I would like to wish those who are mother's, a very Happy Mother's Day. Wishing you a wonderful day celebrating with your families.

For those of you who have lost your mom's this past year, or for those caring for your mother's, my prayers for healing and peace are sent your way. May you find a few moments today to reflect and embrace fond memories of/with your mother's.

Hugs Angels,
Robin~

Thanks, Robin.

We had a beatiful day with Mom. My brother came up from S. Fla. He's a caretaker, too, for his "significant other," who has a whole laundry list of infirmities. He had a turn of caring for Mom. He's her baby and they have a special bond. I am blessed to witness how seeing him brings a special light to her eyes. He fears this will be his last year to spend holidays and occasions with her. I'm not so sure - given her strong inner spirit.

Anyway, we were talking about how that neither or us ever had the opportunity to be a parent. Our caretaker roles are what we do to fill the need to nurture and that it suits us and is an excellent way to honor our folks and the way we were raised.

My hats off to all of you. May the Lord smile on you today.
-Barb
