I ordered two DVDs today and can't wait to get them. One is Lawrence Welk, and the other is best of Perry Como. My mom has Alzheimer's. I do not care for her full time, but I do spend Sundays with her. She lives with my sister and I pick her up on Sundays. It is very difficult to find things to do together because she has absolutely no interest in anything. All she wants to do is sit and "watch" TV, although she keeps her eyes closed. I understand that those with dementia enjoy programs from long ago, ones they enjoyed back then. My mother does love music and loves to sing along and she use to love Lawrence Welk, so I am looking forward to seeing how she responds to this. Just thought I'd share this with others. I was able to order them through Amazon.com and they were not expensive, each less than $20.
